David Booth is an experienced entrepreneur who is enthusiastic about solving problems and having a positive impact. His business development drive and eye for growth have been valuable in helping FYR to expand its team and form new key relationships with universities and other private companies. He has experience negotiating collaboration agreements, conducting due diligence on novel biomarker technologies, optioning and licensing patent portfolios, and guiding strategies related to acquiring novel assets and protecting intellectual property.
A lifelong learner, he has participated in multiple startup programs and competitions – he enjoys leveraging his attention to detail and problem-solving skills to tackle widespread challenges. David enjoys supporting new startups and aspiring entrepreneurs, and he has a strong interest in helping kids explore and develop their creativity. A Global Biotech Revolution Leaders of Tomorrow Alumnus, he has supported bio-focused startups for multiple years as part of GBR, as well as help mentor others in programs such as EforAll and Startup Weekend.
When not working at FYR, he can be found volunteering in his local community, including as a youth sports coach and as a board member of an affordable housing non-profit.
